'Resolve Kashmir for permanent peace'

London, May 19: In London, Executive Director Justice Foundation Kashmir Centre, Prof Nazir Ahmad Shawl has said that UPA government of India is due to be saddled in power after winning the general elections.

 

Shawl hoped that with an improved mandate this new government of India would adopt realistic and people friendly policies, shall shun adhocism and read the writing on the wall.

 

It will get engaged with Pakistan and the people of Jammu and Kashmir to resolve Kashmir dispute to the satisfaction of the Kashmiri people forever. It is imperative for security and stability of South Asian region to resolve this issue, Shawl reiterated.

 

In connection with Martyrs week Shawl has saluted all the martyrs who laid down their lives for a noble cause and sacrifices Shawl remarked will not be wasted.
