No legal, moral justification of Indian occupation

Srinagar, March 11 (KMS): Veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani has emphasised that India has no moral and legal justification to continue its occupation of Jammu and Kashmir. Syed Ali Gilani was addressing a big public gathering in Hyderpora after he reached Srinagar from New Delhi, today. He denounced the use of brute force by Indian police against peaceful protestors. The veteran leader asked people to hold peaceful demonstrations tomorrow after Juma prayers against Indian state terrorism.

Later, Syed Ali Gilani led a motorcade that passed through different streets of Srinagar. Indian police, on the occasion, arrested dozens of people at Rammunshi Bagh in Srinagar.

Illegally detained APHC leader, Nayeem Ahmad Khan said that the supreme sacrifices offered by the Kashmiri people would never go waste and the ongoing struggle would be taken to its logical conclusion. He was talking with a delegation that met him in Srinagar Central Jail.

The work in all the government offices including hospitals and educational institutes in occupied Kashmir was hit for the third consecutive day, today, due to the strike by the employees against the anti-people policies of the puppet authorities.

In Washington, speaking at the Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution, the Executive Director of Kashmir Centre, Dr Ghulam Nabi Fai said that the Kashmir dispute could only be resolved amicably through tripartite dialogue process among Pakistan, India and the real leadership of the people of Kashmir
