Indian trooper arrested for raping minor girl in Kashmir

Srinagar, June 8: An Indian Reserve Police constable was arrested on Monday for  raping a teenager and murdering her grand-mother at a village in Tangmarg, 45 kms from here, police said.
The arrest came after wide spread protest by locals.
Nazir Ahmed of 10 battalion Indian Reserve Police was arrested from Kushipora village after he fatally attacked 65-year-old woman Farzi Begum who confronted the constable after her grand-daughter told her about the incident.
