Curfew continues in Islamabad town for the fourth day

Srinagar, September 2 :Curfew continued in southern town Islamabad for the fourth day, today, while restrictions were imposed on the movement of people in Srinagar city.

“Curfew has not been lifted in Islamabad town as there are apprehensions of violent protests against the killing of youth by troops in the town,” a senior police officer said.

The curfew was imposed when protests broke out after killed a young boy and injured several others on August 30 by the paramilitary forces.

Strict restrictions were imposed in many parts of Srinagar city to thwart the anti-India demonstrations.

Meanwhile, shops, educational institutions, banks, post and private offices remained closed and all modes of public transport were off the roads in the valley  Agenceis
