2 cops arrested for rape, molestation

Jammu, June 19, 2009: Local Police authorities  has claimed that they have arrested two cops in rape and molestation cases, in Doda district since last couple of days.

Police reports said that a Special Police Officers (SPO) identified as Naresh Kumar (SPO/567), son of Girdhari Lal of Tarone was arrested with a married woman from her house at Mohalla Batti in the heart of Doda town late on June 17.

In another incident a police constable has been arrested for molesting a woman at Kastigarh in Doda district on June 17, evening.  He has been identified as Constable Mushtaq Ahmed (belt number 1716/09).
